Organiser Agreement and Event Standards
Last updated: 22 September 2026
This agreement supplements the Terms of Service. Read our Privacy Policy. Your acceptance is recorded when you submit an event for publication.
Your role and authority
You must accurately identify whether you organise as an individual, business, charity, community organisation or authorised representative of another entity, and keep the relevant identity and contact details accurate. You must have authority to act for any entity you name. Haaameem provides listing, booking and payment services unless a listing expressly names Haaameem as the organiser. Verification or publication approval is not a safety guarantee.
Event safety and accuracy
Keep your listing accurate, including venue, audience, accessibility, food, prayer facilities and age restrictions. Complete proportionate risk assessments and arrange lawful venue use, suitable capacity, supervision, emergency procedures, and any licences, permissions or insurance required for your event. Meet applicable food safety and safeguarding duties. Keep relevant evidence and provide it to Haaameem on reasonable request. Do not advertise facilities you cannot provide.
Event Standards
Dating events, political activism, protests, demonstrations, extremism, illegal activity and alcohol-based events are not permitted. Do not host events in pubs, bars or nightclubs or make alcohol part of the experience. No abusive, hateful, exploitative, sexually explicit, threatening or misleading content. Describe the audience and food honestly; only list prayer space, breaks or wudu access when available.
Fees and attendee prices
For paid tickets, Haaameem deducts 4.4% of ticket revenue plus actual Stripe payment-processing costs attributable to those bookings. The 4.4% does not apply to charity contributions, the attendee platform fee or £0 tickets. Each attendee ticket has a £1 platform fee. A £0 ticket also requires at least £1 charity, making the minimum attendee total £2. Higher contributions increase the total. You must not advertise a booking as free or hide any unavoidable charge; the ticket price, platform fee, charity contribution and total must be clear before commitment. Haaameem is not a registered charity. Every event that collects a charity contribution must identify the intended charity before publication, either from Haaameem’s catalogue or with the charity’s official secure website. Haaameem shows it to attendees and manually transfers the net charity balance after refunds, reversals, chargebacks and applicable payment-processing costs are deducted. Haaameem does not subsidise those costs. We normally aim to transfer the balance within 30 days after the event ends once reconciliation is complete. If, after reasonable attempts, the displayed charity cannot receive the balance, Haaameem will redirect it to another eligible charity and record the replacement recipient.
Payouts, refunds and cancellation costs
We normally begin manual payout review seven days after the event ends. Approval and bank arrival are not guaranteed on that day. Payouts exclude platform fees and charity contributions and account for refunds, payment reversals and applicable costs. Organiser cancellation triggers full attendee refunds. To the extent permitted by law, an organiser is responsible for reasonable payment, refund, chargeback or other direct costs caused by its cancellation, no-show, material misdescription or breach. Complaints, disputes, verification issues or legal requirements can delay release. Keep your Stripe details current and report discrepancies. You remain responsible for applicable taxes.
Changes, no-shows and failed admission
Tell Haaameem and affected attendees promptly if you cancel, reschedule, change the venue, audience or advertised content, or cannot provide the event. Honour valid tickets and admission requirements shown in the listing. A no-show, failed admission or material misrepresentation may lead to attendee remedies, withheld proceeds, event removal or organiser restrictions.
Attendee information and complaints
Use attendee information only to run the event and handle relevant support, keep it secure, limit access to people who need it, and delete it when no longer needed unless the law requires retention. Do not sell it, disclose it for unrelated purposes or add attendees to marketing lists without appropriate separate permission. Comply with applicable data-protection law and cooperate with Haaameem on rights requests, safety reports, cancellations and refunds.
Tax and regulatory information
You are responsible for tax on your event income. Where Haaameem is legally required to collect, verify, retain or report organiser identity, tax, transaction or payout information, you authorise that processing and must provide accurate information promptly. Haaameem may restrict publication or payout where required information is missing or appears inaccurate.
Your content and branding
You retain ownership of your event content and branding and confirm you have the rights and permissions needed to publish them. You grant Haaameem the non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence described in the Terms to use that material for the limited purposes of listing, operating, supporting and promoting the event and service.
Responsibility for business organisers
If you organise in the course of business, you are responsible for reasonable direct losses, claims and costs Haaameem incurs because your event, content or conduct breaches this agreement, infringes another person’s rights or violates law, except to the extent the loss was caused by Haaameem. This obligation will be applied proportionately and does not cover indirect or unforeseeable loss.
Publication and changes
Paid events require Stripe verification. New £0-ticket events from organisers without completed verification need admin approval before public listing or booking. Approval does not remove your responsibilities. After approval, contact support for content or date changes; cancellation remains available. Breaches may result in removal or restrictions under our Terms.
