For paid events, complete Stripe Connect onboarding so Stripe can check your identity, business or sole-trader status, and bank details. Your organiser profile and event details are shown to attendees so they know who is running the event.
If the organiser cancels an event, you're refunded to your original payment method automatically. Attendee-initiated cancellations aren't refundable. Making the booking a real commitment is part of how we keep events feeling like a promise, not a maybe. The £1 booking fee and any charity contribution are non-refundable in all cases.
Cancel from your organiser dashboard and we automatically refund the paid ticket-price portion and notify attendees. The booking fee and any charity contribution remain non-refundable. Repeat cancellations affect your organiser standing, so commit to dates carefully and update attendees quickly if anything changes.
Every organiser must accept the Haaameem Event Standards before publishing. Listings must clearly label who the event is for, food and venue details, alcohol restrictions, prayer considerations, and anything still uncertain. If an event misrepresents itself, attendees can report it and we review every report.
Yes. Organisers choose sisters-only, brothers-only, or everyone when creating an event. The label is shown clearly and Haaameem enforces eligibility when someone books.
It is added inside checkout before the ticket is issued. £1 is the enforced floor and is separate from Haaameem’s booking fee. The charity name and direct verification link will be added before public launch.
Every ticket includes a £1 Haaameem booking fee, paid by the attendee. Standard Stripe payment-processing fees also apply to paid tickets. There is no monthly subscription.
Payouts are reviewed and released by the Haaameem team, typically 3-4 days after the event finishes, and sent via Stripe to your bank. Before releasing funds we check that the event actually went ahead and there were no serious complaints from attendees. It keeps the bar high for organisers and protects everyone in the room.
